Cityroomz offers a superb location next to Princes Street. The staff were professional and friendly, assisting with luggage storage . My room, located on the third floor, was quiet, clean, and equipped with everything I needed, offering excellent value for a central hotel during the busy New Year period.
The shower water temperature was only lukewarm.

the hotel was great and i liked the streets of edinburgh. everything was great and the staff were informative. the room was cheap and looked huge. continental breakfast had a nice variety. the property was in the very central setting on top of a night club. and it was also short walk to local shops and tourist destinations and the center and many buses and the airlink 100 bus, as well as the tram. the view was exceptionally good, the service was fantastic.

The location is unbeatable, sitting right on the edge of major sights and transport options. The room had good lighting and a noticeable amount of space for a compact double.
The compact double had its quirks. There was no fridge, a letdown for keeping drinks cool. The shower was a tight fit, and it felt outdated, not quite matching the expectations set by the online pictures. Noise from the street can be disruptive at night, with shouting and tram bells creeping in before dawn. I also found the lack of bedside tables awkward, leaving nowhere to put my phone or a glass of water without it taking a tumble.

Comfortable Stay with a Few Hiccups
I appreciated the cute staff and the comfortable space. The location was an easy walk to the main attractions. The electric hobs didn't work was great. Future guests should ask for extra kitchen supplies during check-in for a smoother experience.
